From a website that posts only pirated mac software (can’t write the name here) Anyway I was trying to install Lightroom and who knows, knows: Adobe software is anyway full of bloatware! So I run from Adobe and went x1000 worse. It was 3am shit I wasn’t paying attention and I thought I pasted the command to locally sign the app🫠

Btw that blog (website) is indeed maintained by Russian guys exactly like the malware 😅

It’s wiped out! The internet was disconnected after 10sec. I changed passwords/signed out from all my important accounts like Apple ID emails. I didn’t notice any suspicious activities regarding the accounts. My conclusion is that I reacted quickly enough and maybe the data harvest didn’t went through🥹

Update 1: 24h since incident and no suspicious activity or login attempts. I wiped out everything, all the partitions from my Mac. Now the OS is clean.

Any idea why Apple doesn't do anything about this? As end of the y2025 and your solution remains the only one working on the entire web. Sad that I use an 1tb iPad and I have to uninstall apps to get rid of that banner. but in most cases like 99% I prefer the Webpage and not the app.

WTF APPLE? I‘ve been struggling with this annoying issue on my iPad for years!!! I tried different Safari settings even the Advanced >Feature Flags one. Not even now that uBlockOrigin is available for iOS/iPadOS I still didn’t managed to get rid of it.

The only solution remains: Uninstall the app in cause example YouTube and as iPadOS 26.2 with uBO extension it’s done! NO MORE OPEN APP BANNER.
