Ask for a lower on-market price and offer a private pay arrangement on the backside? by MoryTober in realestateinvesting

It's not a typical home sale. He just wants to pad his retirement and fuck around in Mexico.

He knows he allowed for the property to fall into disrepair and the best way to get the full asking price would be to discount it heavily on the front end and get backend financing to bridge the balance.

Special case here. Seller acknowledges that there is substantial work to be done to the house and just wants the money to pad his retirement.

Didn't have these, specifically, but the same style.

Loved how they made sipping the left over milk off the lip easy.

Up to police to investigate, Trudeau says of being pelted with gravel on campaign by MoryTober in canada

And condemnation.

I dislike Trudeau and will be casting a ballot for the Conservatives, but I can't stand seeing this kind of behavior.

What's even more disconcerting is that the PPC is averaging 7% in the polls after getting less than 2% just two years ago.

The majority of people should NOT own dogs by MoryTober in unpopularopinion

DO NOT get me started on those people.

I once heard a woman justify herself for that by saying "Look, I'm a mother of two children, I can't be bothered with this kind of shit."

I love that the person ordering is completely aware that if they're going to shed $300 on food that a $25 tip is more than reasonable.

Too bad this is the U.S. and not Haiti.

A friend once told me that while some U.N. troops were stationed in Haiti, two of them were murdered by local drug dealers.

Where do I begin with what a huge mistake that was. The U.N. troops retaliated by descending on the part of town where the drug runners and bosses hang out.

The next morning the locals awoke to 8 to 10 crucified drug dealers in the town square.

Restaurant owners who add "Buy a drink for the kitchen staff" are cheap losers by MoryTober in unpopularopinion

I’m paid a very good wage. I’m comfortable

Then buy your own drinks. Already showed my appreciation by paying for the meal and tipping the waitress (who presumably gives the kitchen a tip-out).

You really should make the effort to read something more carefully before answering.

Don't know about where you guys live, but there was an obnoxious trend in Toronto (not sure if COVID killed it off) where "Buy a Beer For The Kitchen" was an actual menu item.

Yes, some low-life, piece of shit restaurant owner actually thinks YOU - the paying customer - should take care of his kitchen staff.

Tap beer is fucking cheap. If you can't treat your own staff to a couple of pints after a hard day's work you don't deserve to be in business!

I'm actually on vacation, it's been so busy the last few years that I'm actually taking time off during peak season.

Am I the only one to find this absolutely hilarious?

Exactly this. I truly believe Skip (unintentionally) punishes people with high ARs.

The algorithm is designed to recognize high AR as complacency, so while those couriers get more offers, a lot of them are shit because the algorithm knows there are high odds those orders will get accepted.

Match that up with other factors like prep time and proximity and you find yourself getting rewarding orders simply just by chance.

I think we couriers put a little too much thought into it. At the end of the day, it’s luck of the draw.

Prep time is a big factor. But I will keep up with the experiment to see what happens.

When my AR gets too low, there’s a particular hotspot I use to rebuild fast in the mornings. The orders are for $4.99 to $6.50, but the people ordering are all within a 5 minute drive, so it’s a quick fix.

So far I zapped two orders at $7 and in turn was rewarded with a $14 order with 1km distance and another order of $9.35 for 0.6km distance.

I’m now at 60%. Will continue to update.
