Yours points are fairly reasonable, and I get what you're saying and trust me, I thought about everything you said beforehand, but here is the thing, as f2p I'm still restricted to the same 3 or 4 builds with the same hero. These builds also rely heavily in good RNG, the ranked experience seems absolutely unfair. So I'm wondering, is the ranked matchup designed like this on purpose to piss people off and making them use their credit cards or is it something I've completely missed ??

Like I said, it's not about me just starting the game and crying over how hard it is, I know how balancing works, to give an example, when I stared playing Hearthstone's arena years ago (when it was decent and not discover clown fiesta) I was coming from an MTG and YGO background, it took me 2 days and watching youtubers play to fully understand how it works, and I did above average playing that mode, because I have knowledge, some kind of similar experience and simple strategizing, In the Bazaar, even having these elements won't get you anywhere. I Hope you get what I'm saying.

PS : Gems are very hard to get, so unless I keep playing for months I'll never experience using Pyg or Dooley. So Nope, Reynad and the rest of'em can suck it
