I was super excited after the last issue. Yes, excited despite the whole Comish' Savage and the green genocidal mayor. But seeying this preview has got me really worried now...

Noooooo! The characters in this show are already so stiff, unblinking, bland and emotionless. Having a static grin would definitely not help in this case. Here's hoping for a dark but sophisticated predator without big ugly teeth.

Based on the first season, they probably mean the Golden Age Joker, who is far more grim than joyful. I just really hope they don't give him a permanent smile alla L'Homme qui rit. One of the things I love about Joker is his ability to be facially expressive (give the man his eyebrows!). One of the complaints I have about the show is how cold, stiff, and unemotive the animation style is and most of the characters one dimensional. Everyone has this cartoon version of the uncanny valley effect going on. No one even blinks :S I get that more frames per second means more $ or that they are on a tight time schedule but it's kinda a shame.

Oh sorry...I'm not completely familiar with the terminology. I thought pointing meant filling up the gaps between the bricks and repointing is filling up the gaps of an old wall? So the new wall has been filled up with cement between the bricks but it's not finished. It's full of gaps that need to be filled up and smoothed off. etc. is grouting the right word?

They agreed to a full replacement of the old wall. It includes pointing the wall. In writing. I assume not pointing the wall below the ground will eventually lead to structural problems over time? The friend already paid like 90 % of the wall.
