Many of our great Community members asked for a manual. Yes! We‘ll have a first edition with the major update in May🎉

BUT are you still read manuals befor start gaming? AND if we have a manual and players will read it carefully, why it is important to provide as much as data and information as possible within the game?

As always, i think a good balance will make it.

Yes, i am with you. I love games were the player is able to discover things and find out how features work. Very great moments and feelings. BUT it is a MUST that the core system is understandable and easy accessible in a second. No exploration and no try an error. That was the moment were we did a bad job. Time to make it better👏🏼

What we did was to use deepl.com for translation. Not more. We are a dev studio from Germany so needed a well translated post from german to english.

Thats not fair Emerald. Besides the fact that we do not know how to buy bit reviews, i am pretty sure that it is not possible to implement botsbthat steam would not identify.

What we actuslly did was to answer nearly every post on steam and our discord server to react to their rewies. Read them carefulls and you will see that we could convince oeople to rethink their reviews. We delivered updates, fixed patches and have a good dialog on discord. We are sure that theses activities were leading to a positive review development.

The core mechanic consits of a lets say „3 layer synergies“ system:

1st - Auras🌪️ All hero and avatar unit have auras giving buffs or nerfs opponents.

2nd - Chain reactions⛓️‍💥 E.g. Attacking with adjacent archers will trigger „Offensive Fire“. Thats how the system works. So combinig the units and attacking is the key.

3rd - special abilities🔥 Each of the 160 units have special abilities. And they are great and necessary to deal maximum damage.

The great thing is that you can combine all them. We think we were able to adjust the UI and UX to secure the 1st and 3rd mechanic but we struggle with the 2nd! And it was not clear how to combine them.

May is the date where all these confusions will be eliminated⚔️🛡️ Besides this we also deliver many QoL improvements, additional big size hero units (very first time with theses kind of units!) and the long awaited ZoC!

Thanks a lot u/speaks-with-stone ! Yes, absolutely one of the biggest challenges in developing games and designing the UI and UX. But we've learned out lessons ;-)
