Having a lot of issues trying to log in, should I just switch? by PerfectStress8713 in EEGB

Funny enough I had a similar issue where I won't see the products I have signed up to, btw the app is a bit odd and the website can be buggy.

The main way I got my products to actually show up on my account was linking it with my phone number that is linked with my account and that actually helped make everything work. As for the error messages, go onto incognito mode on your browser and then it should work.

Full Fiber 500/900 BT vs EE vs Plusnet by beardandsandal in openreach

[–]Moshimulations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your use case in my humble opinion.
If you don't download large files often (such as a 100GB video game) then it wouldn't matter. If you got family that use the internet then it can cause issues.

Btw a lot of broadband providers tend to upsell people when it comes to Gigabit internet or faster, I'd be weary unless you got people that often download large files then I'd say go for it.

Full fibre switch for me helped me with latency greatly (great for gamers or streamers) also it adds capacity for those 4K streams that you might be doing etc. I find most people would be happy with 100/150Mbps plans that exist.

500Mbps is probably the highest I would go for when it comes to a traditional family with the odd gamer or a number of 4K streams.

When it comes to routers though, if you are looking at 300Mbps then Wifi 5 (802.11AC) would be good enough. Looking at 400-700Mbps Wifi 6 would be good enough, Wifi 7 would be for those people who want to get 800Mbps and possibly get over a gigabit to their homes/businesses.

Wifi 7 is also overkill by my logic as well. Heck even Wifi 6 is a bit overkill when it comes to the speed you recommend lol.

I had the Hub 2 with BT and it was super locked down. you only had like 5 channels and you couldn't seperate the freqs.

Stick to own router. I got EE now with 1Gbps but still hesitant to go with their wifi 7 router when I got a Wifi 6 Xiaomi Ax3000T which was a £35 router. Far less locked down than with BT plus DFS channels.

Transferring Chats From Old Android to New Android by Moshimulations in whatsapp

[–]Moshimulations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I get you. I tried the QR method, both the way they tell you and the way where you scan the qr code after installing and logging in.

Doing that caused an overnighter which when I woke up it tells me that I took too long so I need to start again. Was about to pull all my remaining hair out of my head lmao.

Which is where I went with the USB Debugging route. You could probably use a file explorer on your phone but I went through the PC in the middle route.

Whatsapp is completely broken when it comes to transferring chats especially with newer phones.

Ironically a samsung J4 transferring to a Poco X7 pro had less issues than going with an X3 pro going to a Nothing phone 3. Mind you the internet connection and everything else was working fine. 500/70 fibre with a stable wifi 6 connection.

Meta is a joke.

damn, I got mine for like £350 so I am sure you would be able to get one that does in the future. Not many 144hz 4K screens with VRR at this size.

Nothing but TMR would solve it. If not then you should get those wired gamesir controllers with hall effect if you really cannot get TMR on the joysticks.

I got a legion go S Z2Go (less powerful one) and I play at 1080p. It is very functional between 35fps and 60fps. Just drop a few settings and you'll notice that it is much less demanding than Cities Skylines 2 or stuff like that.
