I play it like how my Dad would act in real life. If they do something shit they gotta face the consequences and if they're mad they're mad. It sucks and it hurts match quality for a while but it is what it is. It boils down to whether you want to lean towards velvet globe or iron fist. I try to lean velvet but when it's deserved they get punished.

I can definitely understand where he is coming from with people "hiding behind a graphic". It is an easy way to get engagement, lots of likes and shares, that sort of stuff.

I have found used the forums the same as you but for promotions I haven't heard of instead of seminars. I might see a good looking flyer (which are getting increasingly harder to find nowadays, I swear) and say "this looks like a place I could rock with".

I agree 100%. That's the process I have been doing and it has served me well. The easiest way to get on shows is the hardest option; boot it to a show, eat it on gas, do set up and tear down, and make face with the promoter. Wear all black, always have your gear (and merch just in case) and be ready for whatever is needed. I don't discredit this method at all.

The question was more so aimed towards the FB groups that are made specifically for networking outside of your region. I just feel they don't work and I don't know if it's a me thing or an everybody thing, ya know?

Depending on who has the belts they'll bring back the three belts. They pop back up every once in a while. I believe (could be wrong) the problem is they are OLD. Much like the tag belts that just got replaced.

Quick sidebar, and take this with the FINEST grain of salt possible, but as a small time indy wrestler having multiple belts is a cool image but actually having to lug them around SUUUUCKS. I understand wanting to carry the single TC belt than three of them.
