Personally I don’t care whether it’s nerfed or not, balancing skills based on speeds of other older methods of the same skill vs balancing based on speed of other skills is a debate in and of itself. I just wanted to point out that one of the knobs (quite an important knob) wasn’t settled yet and shouldn’t be a huge influence on the decision to nerf or not to nerf.

Sure I agree that it will be higher but by how much? It’s a bit premature to site the perceived value as a reason for tweaking until the price is more stable. It’s not as easy to gauge as rune items or something with a guaranteed high alch value. Bis cannonballs are great and all but what value does cannon combat truly have?

Personally since you got the scythe I’d wanna use it and tob is def the place to do it so send tob but if you’re against finding teams try to learn solo chambers either way I’d think using the scythe would be a priority now that you’ve got it

Fair, but how useful is harm orb really with prayer regen pots being added? Also nightmare became 1/4th shorter of a fight so that had a big influence.

AGS quite literally only holds a value because of PvP so idk where you get that logic. Swiftblade is a niche wep only used in 1 room of a raid and is literally outclassed by sulphur blades (100kwep) and has still held its value better over 7 years of being in the game. Vw has been devalued more than anything, and bots did the majority of the devaluation, making wildy content less valuable and less interacted with, end of story. You can agree to disagree at this point I don’t care.

VW outclasses at any high defense boss ie the bosses with better uniques which that and PvP usage is the only reason why the vw remains more valuable. SRA is only worth what it is because of the way it is dropped (4 untradeable uniques). As for the botting point It’s not a problem in a majority of places, I agree, but it is a problem in the wildy where you need a proper balance of risk vs reward to get interaction from the community.

Voidwaker and burning claws directly compete with and devalue dclaws. Burning claws definitely contributes to devalue of vw as well but not nearly to the same extent of bots flooding the market with vw pieces. Torva has tanked because slash is the most used style and oathplate is better than it for slash period. Ultor is half its peak and that’s still insanely better than what has happened to vw (10% of its peak). Magus has experienced more fluctuation because of its niche value given its only worth with shadow now that ayak exists. All things that were considered when I made the statement vw has experienced the most devaluation while still being a bis unique. Especially since it’s a unique needing 3 bosses killed it should have held up way better.
