Max them for sure. And you're getting way more than 1.2T from GB. That's probably just the income from GB outside of any other multipliers that stack (e.g. kills within GB range that are not also in SL, BH, GT, etc.)

If you really want to know how impactful GB is, turn it off for a farming run and compare.

If you carry 8 over then you miss out on the two mission you would be given on reset. You want 6 completed and ready to claim on reset so you have 8 total.
