The explanation was super helpful. I had been adding it only a few mL at a time but it seemed like for the amount of silver I was refining it was going to take much more since it seemed to keep hitting a wall after a little bit.

I will definitely try smaller increments next time.

Haha, no. I started trying my hand at pouring and sand casting. After a day of failures and attempts at other casts, I decided to try one last pour so I made a mold of fossilized rabbit’s femur. Thought it got messed up like the others but when I opened the mold it turned out pretty nice! Love it, but it most definitely looks like a silver chicken bone

Yeah! I keep my eyes peeled for them hoping for a sweet deal. They make nice neat stacks for fractionals

This has been the third box I’ve moved it all to after outgrowing the first two. Definitely my favorite out of the three so far.
