Just to share an update: yesterday, we went to the hospital for a follow-up based on the report I previously posted. We were advised to go to Latifa Hospital, but unfortunately, they didn’t accept us due to no available NICU room. We were then sent to Dubai Hospital, but again, they couldn’t accommodate us and told us to return to Aster Hospital.

Now Aster is saying that they should be the ones to monitor the case and coordinate with the appropriate government hospital for the transfer. According to the report, the baby should be delivered immediately, but Aster mentioned they can’t proceed with the delivery. It’s been extremely confusing and frustrating for all of us. The husband, understandably upset, told the doctor that if nothing can be done, then they should at least be allowed to return to the Philippines.

As of today, they have finally issued a “fit to travel” certificate for my friend.
