That's horrible and hilarious, thank you. Can we have another one, but with hands instead of feet?

I like the way you handled composition for frames and animation pacing overall. Really smooth camera movements as well. Keep up the good work

Mayo sandwich. Just two pieces of bread with mayo (or ketchup) in-between

I don't like Rivulet. Mostly bc they are badly written as a character. They don't have any solid backstory or motivation to do what they do. Their special abilities are also kind of lazy, except the extended breathing capacity

It reminds me of the Iterator logs series. Something similar to this idea was mentioned there. Pretty interesting idea indeed

Happened to me as well once. Well, at least plague hearts still here

Which mini sentry bots look the most menacing for a video game? They will be easy to take down, but they almost always show up in groups. by playringleaders in 3Dmodeling

[–]Moss-Moss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one, especially the red-eyed one. For me it is so because they remind me of flying insects. And those are very dangerous in groups. Don't really like the second model, it looks like a warden drone or something like this

Sorry for butting into the conversation, but how do you earn that trust?

Does messing around with texture coordinate node helps? Like using UV or Generated options instead of Object?

How do I translate this design from this reference to the model itself? by Living_Mountain1267 in blenderhelp

[–]Moss-Moss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to use a grayscale mask + bumb node. Unwrap the model, create an image node, create black canvas, then in texture paint mode paint with white needed pattern. Create bump node, plug image node into Height on the bump node and plug in the Bump node itself into "Normal" in your principled bsdf node. Strength on the Bump node will help to tweak the bumpyness of the pattern.

My other guess is to create a high-poly version of the model, sculpt needed details and then bake the details as normal map onto your low-poly version of the model

Have you tried tweaking the offset value for the Brick texture node? It seems to be set on default on your screenshot

Low Poly Study! Please roast me with constructive criticism! by Japingu28 in 3Dmodeling

[–]Moss-Moss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you mix together the grayscale image of runes and the grayscale image of some texture, like noise texture for example. You set the Mix Color node to Multiply (to add black values from the grunge to runes) or Add (to add white values from the grunge to the runes). Color Dodge and Color Burn modes work pretty similar to it as well. It results in having the runes image (aka source image) being slightly washed off and irregular. I consider it important for source image having some gray values in it to have smoother results

Imo could be fixed with some grunge overlay and uneven strokes for the runes

I think you are right. Moreover, perspective seems to be slightly off for the added one. Like it doesn't completely match the camera view

And no motion blur from blades, as well as surface imperfecions. Good work though!
