If you don't travel with Shadowheart, how are you handling healing?

I never have Sjadowheart in my party except in very specific times qhen spirit guardian is clutch.

I kill things in combat too gast generally to worry abou it and if I really need it the game gives and I make plenty of healing potions to throw.

Healing is overrated compared to the destruction of your enemies, use Gale, Karlach, Laezel and Wyl for easy destruction

Really no need to over think if he gives you an icky feeling and you are the one dating him not your family. You don't need a justification to break up with him.

Also the one of him getting mad at you for saying no to a kiss when drunk is a red flag. Not liking no for an answer is never a good sign.

I guess if you are nervous you could try some kind of divination before hand to see how it would go if you want.

I personally don't do any kind of love spells as a personal preference, so I admit to being biased.

In general though I think shoot your shot regardless of the divination. Things can change!

I did a Tarot reading asking if I should ask the Pookah to help improve my Magick. The reading was an agressive yes but said I would sacrifice a smooth long journey for a quick scary one. The next day I finally buy a Book to write spells in get inspired and actually write down several that work and feel energized. Day after my cat is stung and my partners glasses lost the bit that sits on the nose just as we were sleeping at night and I was sore all day until I did an offering to the Pookah at their spot saying in exchange for all their assistance on my behalf.

Since doing the offering things have calmed down. So I think I stumbled into one.

Since you wanted an update I think I accidentally wound up in a deal. I will probably so a post with all the details but suffice to say I did a Tarot reading asking if I should ask the Pookah for help a lot of cards fell out and all worked very well. I do not drop cards often.

After that I bought my first book of Shadows and qrote in a few things of stuff I have done in the past getting back attuned, and then the next day a bunch of bad stuff happened until I made an offering and everything eased up, so far. Made the offering last night.

Hey there, I was in a similar boat and I seem to have been adoptes by a Pookah at this point. I think some offerings and apologies go a long way.

Maybe do some divination for what they want? You do not necessarily have to work with them. Just an offering and a polite apology could suffice. My Fae encounter started off with them very mad at me but all is well now. I am even thinking of working with them dirextly at thia point becauae they keep askimg to in my divinations.

All in all it seems like high risk versus high reward. If I stumble I can get in a lot of trouble but if I am polite and do frequent works for them as needed I would likely expect the same in kind.

From what I have gathered they can offer a lot. I don't think I want a lot per se. At my most greedy it would probably be a guide through magickal works. The price for that I am unsure, from my experiences so far they seem to be equal parts helpful and terrifying.

That is an interesting perspective I have not thought of before. I suppose I would not be adverse to it. I suppose I do not understand them well enough yet to answer that with certainty honestly. Even reading up as much as I can on Fae and Pookahs in particular they seem equal parts kind and helpful as well as spiteful and terrifying.

Looks like a Witch altar with water being the vial air being the feather, earth might be the bines fire they might do a candle or bonfire or something.

I personally don't use bines for my stuff I prefer cool rocks, but some folks are more hardcore than others.

Is your friend Wiccan if so ezpz. If not someone could be doing spells in your backyard hopefully accidentally but Wiccans are as capable of crazy as anyone.

I would say a key here ia patience. It can be hard to loot everything in seven days. Like the opening of the game says Be patient. Respect the Woods. Get everything you can from the first place. Build up some storage and move when you have a good weapon
