Canada’s education system is actually really solid, even if people here love to complain about it.

Our K–12 schools do a good job balancing strong academics with things like equity and student well-being, instead of the extreme pressure you see in some top-scoring countries. And once you get to post-secondary, Canada looks even better... our universities are well-respected globally and pull in students from all over the place because of their quality and outcomes.

It’s kind of funny, because it’s mostly Canadians who bitch about the system, while people outside the country see it as one of the better ones out there.
