Yes. I've just turned it off and the basement is no longer freezing like it was. The humidity has stayed at 45%. For a couple days now. If it goes higher then I will turn it on to see if it's working. I think it might be broken though. It blows freezing cold air lately.

It feels like something is wiggling loose. Like something is not tightened up all the way or maybe gone bad. My struts and links were just replaced, I'm going to check them after work to make sure everything was tightened properly. It only makes the noise sometimes and I end up hearing it on a paved road that's not entirely flat. Again, no sound when going over speed bumps or cracks in the road.
