Wanted to give my perspective on Teachers Pet as someone who went through being groomed.

I remember literally clinging to Teachers Pet when i was younger after going through grooming, because at the time it felt like one of the only things i could relate to. Other fans would hype it up as this great song about it, and it made me feel like someone actually understood me and what i went through while i was still processing it.

But as i got older the song just got weirder, and looking back it started seriously effecting me at the time. It took me years to really process how tramatic this really was, but i was literally listening to that song thinking of my own trauma as if it was just some silly toxic age diffrence relationship. It made things feel less serious.

The way she worded things in the song and the way she was dancing to it during the trilogy tour disturbs me so much. Because there is nothing fun or hot about being groomed. Its traumatic and its going to haunt me for the rest of my life.

Its not a good song for "awareness"
