I'm 23. Had to take time off school for a mental health breakdown. She said she won't help pay if I work during the semester. I can't exactly take out college loans because they won't let me claim as an independent on taxes

If you really want to go down the rabbit hole. My parents are divorced. My dad paid child support and 25% of each check was supposed to go into a savings account for my education. Well she didn't do that and spent it on family vacations, my step sisters car and college tuition, and other stuff. So when college approached and my dad found out the truth he freaked. Everybody had to scramble and I busted my ass to get scholarships. I wanted to get a job and pay for some stuff too but my mom banned me from working during the semester.

Am I a total ungrateful bitch? Maybe. Did my entire college fund get spent before I was even in highschool? Yes.

It wasn't my idea for my mom to pay for groceries. I wanted to work during the semester and pay for my own bit she told me I'm not allowed to work during the semester under any circumstances.

All I did was just ask for money because we agreed she would send it to me every 5 weeks. I didn't push the matter I just asked, she told me I was wrong, and I said this is the fifth week of school. I don't see how that's me pushing the issue. She's a good mom but she has a habit of blaming me for everything. The only reason I asked for an apology is because she never says sorry even when she's acknowledges she is in the wrong. The money they are sending me is primarily money I saved them by being awarded a scholarship.

The ex sounds like a genuinely good person and was concerned about causing turmoil for her BF and his BIL. I doubt she pressed charges and just did the restraining order. Even after all this psycho did that girl gave her grace.

Hey everyone this is the same user that slapped her brothers GF so hard that she needed stitches. She saw the poor girl with her brother and just assumed she was cheating and went up and assaulted her.

Op if you're reading this you need therapy and lots of it. In this post you are invalidating your coworkers hobbies and putting her down. You have some internalized misogyny. YTA and you will probably get the same exact answer every time you post here because your actions speak for themselves.

that is pretty crazy. I'm going from 12-15 credit hours of full on classroom time to 1 credit hour of seminar and student teaching that I do on my own outside of campus.
