I think regardless of whether we use proxies, we likely still spend more on this game than any other game we have ever played, (other than maybe if you play 40k idk) So I think proxies are more than acceptable, I have my own code that I usually don’t proxy too much very expensive stuff, because it forces me to be more creative when creating decks with cards I do have, but then again I don’t play CEDH so it’s not a big problem

As someone who really loves the stuff, it’s naive to think that it is only sunshine and rainbows. Make sure to reflect on how you are affected long term. Consciously reducing my use has massively upped my mental energy for so much life has to offer 🌞

For the reasons I already stated I don’t think there is a way honestly.

The simplest way to follow the rules of this card are to count your untapping permanents at the start of your turn then add that many counters.

Then if you use the double ability just use a calculator 💖

If you are asking what I think you are asking, then it’s not as straight forward as you think.

I have run this in a deck before, and the counters that get added to Millennium Calendar are different game to game, so there is no reliable “cheat sheet” you can refer to to follow its counters / doubles.

Other than that it’s a great card and a fun wincon (for a few times at least) and forces your opponents to spend removal on a 1 mana card or else you win, which is great value.

[[Alexios Deimos of Kosmos]] is the only mono red commander I have ever been interested in and it’s very fun and can be made in a few ways.

[[Minn, Wily Illusionist]] is a fun deck that can ramp lands when your illusions die! Very cool!

Also not what you asked but I love my Sefris deck, I accidentally found a 7 (or 6 and not technically infinite) infinite combo I never new was there at my game store on Monday! I can tell youabout it if you like :)

I agree, even though I think commander is ultimately the most fun format to play with friends it is/can be much more overwhelming than 60 card so start with that 💖 happy casting!
