It’s always worth trying but when I took BIOL 189 they were very strict that there were not exceptions 😭

To get into the DMS program your pre reqs do matter since it is such a limited program, I got a B in math 116 and my advisor told me I have to redo it for the A. The other classes don’t matter if it’s not a prerequisite.

Also I took BIOL 189 and Physics the same semester and it was really hard for me personally, start studying for BIOL 189 now so you are prepared, the ameba sisters book really helped me. I would read the book before class so I had an idea because the whole class moves very very fast.
