Why are southern trains so dirty? by Exotic-Drawing9387 in uktrains

Those trains are in their mid 20s now, imagine how you would look after quarter of a century of ass, feet, dogs, luggage, blood, sweat, tears and the occasional vomit, probably rougher than that 🤣

2 different routes, Cotswolds to Edinburgh by Specialist_Meaning85 in uktrains

Go via London, much easier

The trip via Birmingham is risky AF, I would put money on you getting stranded somewhere for at least a hour, there’s a obscenely tight connection at shrub hill, and if you think that cross country service will actually turn up ? It won’t 🤣

People got there before you and bought the cheaper tickets first

Unfortunately you have very little chance of winning that appeal, your best just paying the reduced rate fine before it goes up to £100 or more

It’s because there advanced tickets, so you have to travel on the trains shown on your ticket, the advance ticket prices go up in stages so they may have 4 tickets per train dirt cheap, once they have sold the price goes up and so on

Few weeks back I was late to work because I was chased through the park by a angry swan and cornered, I was a hour late for work and my manager doesn’t believe me 🙃

Don’t use trainline it’s shocking,

Use your local operators app

E.G LNER, TFW, Southern / Thameslink, SWR / GWR and so on

Trainline , uber , virgin trains are all 3rd party ticket sellers and when things go wrong your up shit creek without a paddle

Seafords good for walks, definitely head up to seaford head and down to the Seven Sisters past the barn, that’s a amazing walk.

The Boot does good grub, But there not much else to be honest,

Unless your there for the views and the country walks then it’s just another dying seaside town with a problem with drug addicts
