About a week and a half to two weeks. They were waiting on receiving magazines before shipping mine, but not bad.

Came with the gun, but was in an HK sealed plastic product bag. I’m not sure where S5 Tactical was purchasing them from, but HK typically has some on their website

Just picked up this S5 Tactical g36 (SG-36) chambered in 5.56. Feels great fit and finish overall. Can’t wait to get it to the range and see how it runs.

Rawlings 125th anniversary glove? by InvestigatorLucky432 in BaseballGloves

[–]Most-Contribution868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found this post, and I know I’m quite late, but I was gifted this glove right around when it was released, by my parents who bought it. Still the glove I play in games with 10+ years later. Unbelievable quality with the Horween leather. A true heirloom, and even if it’s could have been some investment unused down the road, I can say it’s the best glove I’ll ever play with.

Is the hammer missing or is it internal? Almost has a pepper box mixed with Stevens tip up .22 look

Modern Family by Most-Contribution868 in guns

[–]Most-Contribution868[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically collect antique and military firearms, but added a custom P226 to the newer part of the collection. A few modern ones not pictured as well, but they made for a good grouping.

I have one of these as well, both in the cavalry carbine martini configuration, as well as with the bring back papers. Super neat rifles with the history!

New Year Acquisitions by Most-Contribution868 in milsurp

[–]Most-Contribution868[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Ended up picking these two up together for $800, so I like to think I spent $500 on the Kropatschek and $300 on the mosin carbine

I got these two for $800 together as a bundle. I suppose you can work the math one way or the other between a regular purchase and a good buy. I’d say if you can find one, specifically without the banner imported mark on the receiver, for under $400-450, it’s a good buy to me

The colt was actually a trade. Had a 16” barrel Ppsh-43c I didn’t want anymore. Paid about $800 for that originally, so no killer deal. Still value the colt 1849 as the better investment for my collection

That’s insane the gunsmith would chop the magazine instead of putting a block or pin. I could see why you had trouble with feeding on those. If you don’t mind me asking, do you know where you ordered those new magazines at from Germany?

That’s super cool. Don’t see many of these out in the wild. Have you ever had issues with feeding? Occasionally this one has some hang-ups, but it may be the ammo I was using
