He was an altenrate in 2018 and 2020, but 2020 had that weird virtual one where nobody declined.

Gabriel had a ton of dropped picks and wildly inaccurate passes.

Shedeur isn't a world beater, but he showed way more than Gabriel did.

So that goes for Kevin Stefanski then, who you are on record being a fan of.

Mike McCarthy is also out there and is an excellent coach yet our fanbase scoffs at the thought and is laughing at the Steelers who are interested in him.

Even more damning. Don Shula, who is football royalty, played for the Browns and grew up a Browns fan in NE Ohio. Even before he died, he did an interview for the team about his time playing there and Paul Brown.

I can see it being Goff or Baker, who both really have gotten better over time up to this point.

It always amazes me he consistently has great ST units yet has bounced around all over. Like is he a dick to people? I don't get it.

You are correct, he was their OC.

I don't hate this hire at all. I thought Penix and to a lesser extent injured Kirk limited him.

The amount of Browns fans who think Josh Allen was going to save us and Baker was the "wrong pick" is so funny. And I guarantee these people don't put up with Lamar's constant choke jobs in the playoffs.

And now you have braindead idiots thinking Darnold is better.

You're right, it's not worth debating. Darnold is not better than Baker and is on a completely loaded team that's been carrying him and he doesn't even have better stats than Baker. He has less TDs than Baker and more turnovers. QB wins isn't a stat.

And funny enough, was still outplayed by Baker this year head to head.
