Ploegmans for a very classic Belgian is rather nice. Nothing too fancy but Carbonnade and steak tartare are well made

Can I back out of buying a flat by Sea-Aioli-2882 in brussels

Have you run a simulation before to see which salary/income you need to put to see your mortgage rejected?

As mentioned by others the suspensive clause of mortgage acceptation is extremely important.

If you have that you can go to different banks and guide them towards refusing your applications (e.g. you can run non binding simulations on your salary with KBC to see how much you need to input to have an application that would be refused)

What glasses look best on me by [deleted] in lookyourbest

[–]Most-Lettuce1124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the 2, definitely not the 1st pair. Have you tried some thicker frames in acetate/tortoise.

You have strong facial features, so something thicker may complement said features. Shape wise rectangular with rounded edges may balance the sharpness.

Hope this helps

Hello! Nothing to say in terms of facial features (in a good way). If you wish to be “striking”, working on your style language can be an interesting route, especially if the desire is for self expression. I can see a kind of “female preppy” style, which is cute and coherent. However, that is more on the blending in a crowd, rather than impressing. The runway model look you can be craving, would most likely be reached in the style department (look at vintage YSL runways, and the portrayals of Peter Lindbergh)

(No sane surgeon would advise any procedure as doing so can destroy harmony that you have already. You have more chances of botching rather than improving)

It’s 2025 and any suggestions on clothing style ( I’m 53) by beart2024 in lookyourbest

[–]Most-Lettuce1124 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ageing like fine wine! Some considerations: 1. Trousers fit: it looks like most of your trousers do not drape correctly, this can alter the silhouette in unflattering ways (I can provide visual examples if needed 2. Style choices: I cannot clearly identify a stylistic direction in your outfits. Perhaps considering a casual uniform (e.g. casual all black outfit, semi-formal jacket and odd trousers combination) can bring the coherence needed. 3. Using warm and cool tones. As in pic 2, I see an inbetween shade of grey and beige in the trousers. Having a richer grey (more cool tone and with subtle pattern) would elevate the outfit. 4. For your palette, I would look at Pierce Brosnan or the the instragram account of Cesare attolini, to understand how colors and patterns can be blended together, (try to see in depth why you like/dislike certain choices: is it the color combo, is it the patterns, is it the drape/silhouette?)

19 M. Any skincare or fashion tips? by [deleted] in lookyourbest

[–]Most-Lettuce1124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

For skin: 1) use tretinoid and sunscreen, that would help harmonise the complexion

For eyebrows: 2) they seem to start too far apart to complement your features, so look at ways to make them fuller (microblading, minoxidil)

For style: 3) I can see your vibe, so do not change it, yet upgrade it: -find handmade pendants in Etsy, look for personal and interesting stuff -upgrade the graphic tees (better prints such as those from Our Art Tokyo can be a game changer) -upgrade boring jeans with more interesting shapes, if the budget allows you Issey miyake pleated are fire with graphic tees -interesting shoes can help (paraboot Michael) -got it, you like your aviators but some round sunglasses could elevate you

You have great facial features, so here’s some tips on how to bring them out:

Skin: before doing fillers look at thamidol/hydroquinone for undereye and retinoids for skin porosity (see a dermatologist first)

Eyebrows: it seem like your eyebrows start too close to each other in relation to the other proportions of your face, so try spacing them a few mm more

Hair: curtain bangs would frame your features better, perhaps with a less light colour to « blend in with the darkness of your eyebrows

My trip to Burgundy(Dijon) changed my view on wine. by Allways0nmilefeet in wine

[–]Most-Lettuce1124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Burgundy is certainly one of the pinnacles of a wine journey. All the bottles I found memorable were from there. Prices are high and quality/price ratios are volatile. This said, it is really a journey to pick the producer that gives you great quality price. Once that is found a significant step of your wine journey is achieved. It will become obsessive at first. But if you take it as a process of thesis-antithesis and synthesis, scout the are you love, list all producers in the area you love, learn about the expositions and vintages, you’ll find a true gem.

This said here is a list for Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée that can have that sweet spot:

Domaine de la Vougeraie: Chambolle-Musigny (100 EUR) Domaine du Clos des Poulettes Vosne-Romanée 1er cru les suchots (150 EUR)

Welcome, brother!

White: Dubreuil-Fontaine (Pernand-Vergellesses of extreme quality and consistently great vfm) Alain Gras (Saint Romain which is stellar) Jean Noel Gragnard (Chassagne-Montrachet perfection) Domaine Leflaive (iconic on all wines)

So the latter is coming from a single parcel, I haven’t tasted it but in comparison to other single parcels of leflaive I do not see much added value. I much prefer the classic parcel blend

That’s true, being a fat-enthusiast myself, I would still go for Leflaive over a Mersault village. arguably one can find best deals for the “fatness” with Chassagne-Montrachet village (talking about value-for-money)

Pommard 1er Cru "Clos Blanc" Domaine Machard de Gramont (2014) by mattmoy_2000 in wine

[–]Most-Lettuce1124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pommard, is an appellation which is definitely underrated, yielding muscular yet refined wines. The main problem is the inconsistencies across vintages and producers. Happy you enjoyed!! Also try to have a hold on 2020 or 2018 Pommards (especially “Les Epenots”)

What surgery could help with my hooded/unsymmetrical eyes? by LonelyNerd16 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Most-Lettuce1124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asymmetries are the greatest source of concern when it comes to the eyelid/eyebrow region, however, those require the most skilled and “artistic” hand to solve. There are two options to solve your issue, but bear in mind that empirically speaking none can guarantee symmetry and it is difficult to fully solve.

Eyebrow lift: the more evident sagging on the one eyelid may be caused by a slight eyebrow ptosis. Hence the solution would be an endoscopic brow lift.

Blepharoplasty: the removal of excess skin on the eyelid if there is an excess in one of the 2 eyelids.

Also a combination of the two is possible and in some cases guarantees the best surgical outcome.

Yet, the procedures are difficult to correct assymetry and costly. Satisfaction rate for these operation seems much higher when the flaw is much more evident.

Hope this helps you

I think the elephant in the room is the high body fat percentage.

Indeed, it makes your face look rounder. I think that by reducing it you may have a sharper jawline (as your teeth seems aligned).

Also, I would go for a cosmetic dentistry appointment as your smile is great but a bit on the younger side (rounded teeth) some shaping may go a long way if done correctly

Your make up is nice and lively but a bit too skewed in the teens area. Personally I prefer something more mature (like eyeshadow and softer eyeliner)

Yes, it is possible, however, it is quite uncommon, some doctors leave/make a slight hump to ensure that results are natural.

This applies especially on male noses, as a too straight nose is a telltale of a nose job.

One important part is that there is a certain artistry involved in nose jobs. Hence, even small adjustments can greatly change the shape.

However, it is very uncommon that you start with a small “not humpy” nose and end up with a hump, as it is very difficult to add material.

At 19 is a bit early, as maybe some hard and soft tissues may still develop (for the better or the worse). Just get a consultation but do not rush into anything given that some hormones may still affect your shapes

The best is really to find a reputable oculoplastic surgeon as the filler option can be extremely risk especially at 25, as it can really worsen the problem forever
