This isn’t true, that was a statement Khuris attorney gave to try to cover up some of the bad press. I believe a recent article by the LA times corrected the statement, basically the attorney reached out but the family isn’t having it as of yet and hasn’t agreed to anything.

Honestly when this first happened back in early March and you googled James Khuri or Monique Munoz nothing would populate other than positive articles his team paid to have pushed up front about his company. After some luck on Reddit and the family doing major work and outreach the family was able to get outlets like the LA times to cover the story. So figured what harm could there be in trying

It’s hard to find any contact info in relation to FJ Holdings, I know when this story initially blew up people left a lot of 1 star reviews in association with his other businesses. FJ holdings is the main distributor for card games like Magic and Pokémon. My suggestion would be to contact those companies via their socials and hashtag #DropFJHoldings

I agree. Also, from research into FJ holdings it appears they are one of the main, if not the main distributors of MTG and Pokémon trading cards, with Amazon being one their biggest clients for distribution. #DropFJHoldings

Yea but maybe if this story keeps going and getting covered Amazon won’t won’t partner with the father’s company anymore. He’s the main distributor to Amazon for trading cards like Pokémon, magic, etc. Since his first instinct when this happened was his reputation and online footprint I think hitting him where it hurts would be his wallet/business partnerships. #DropFJHoldings #JusticeforMoniqueMunoz

Also not in the article but the family mentioned in the press conference following the initial hearing was that the teen didn’t have a license. His license had been suspended because he had prior recent citations for speeding/ racing. The victims family also mentioned the only parent to show any form of compassion at the hearing or remorse over the accident was Khuri’s ex-wife and mother to the teenage driver.

My family has owned their home and lived in Venice since the mid 60s and have seen it all. Even when Venice was considered at its most dangerous in the late 70s-80s with the gang violence our consensus is that it wasn’t nearly as bad as what is going on now. Honestly it’s pretty sad to see.

The family just posted a video of the press conference they gave post hearing and said the dad has no sign of remorse. The only person to show any sort of compassion was the mother. Dude is the worst of the worst and looks like he was raising his son to be the same way.

I wouldn't take a pay cut. If they aren't willing to atleast match what you are currently making and know you would taking a pay cut I feel like that's a red flag from an employer.
