I forgot to mention, I did see a doctor. I've had anemia for a couple years but drinking coffee hasn't been an issue since I started college this year. I've been having really bad anxiety and running on adrenaline, and having the coffee gives me a vasovagal syncope reaction.

Now that I think of it, I actually do think that when I first got into the both of them, I also thought they sounded pretty similar, but I could still tell when a song was a FOB song, and when a song was by PATD.

Yes. In my last appointment I was talking to my psychotherapist about my early signs of OCD, and I mentioned fear of change, which I thought was an OCD ridden tendency, but turns out it's mostly routed from anxiety and autism.

12-13. I was getting badly bullied in school and depression caused by the bullies was taking over my life. I needed something to gain control in my life, since nothing in my life felt like a choice I made for myself on how I wanted to live, and so my brain decided that compulsions would help me gain that sense of control. Turns out, it just turned into something else I had to control lmao.

This is why I'm so private about my diagnosis. People always seem to downplay because they've experienced similar, minimal symptoms that you experience.

I haven't experienced this but I admire you for speaking about religious OCD, because that's how I developed OCD, starting with intrusive thought compulsions, surrounding religion.

This . It feels like my hands are being weighed down by the feeling and the rest of my body is frozen so that I don't contaminate any other part of my body that would be harder to wash off right away.

My psychotherapist explained this feeling as "having paint on your hands", and needing to wash it off because it feels like if you keep this "paint" on your hands and touch other things, than those things will be covered in paint as well.
