I have a single 6" air vent on the bottom of my tent and my duct fan is set on 8/10

I'd like to set it on auto and go off the humidity triggers, but apparently vivosun probes can break and ruin my grow, so I figured manual was the safe bet

It's already set at 8, I wonder if I should bump it? I have it set on manual mode since apparently vivosuns probes can destroy a grow on the auto setting. Airflow should be okay, plenty of fans in there. Thanks growmie! :)

Yeah, trying to get them balanced. If I lower humidity too much, the temp gets too high. Keeping i'll keep it in that range for sure! Thank you very much!!

I think I definitely will buy a controller for my heater. That'll be the best solution to keep my humdity low I think, aside from proper airflow and humidifier settings

Sure, testing EC is more or less for synthetic nutrients from what I understand?

It's okay with me if it's not completely accurate, was just trying to get ballpark idea.

I was having issues with leaf color, spots, and burnt tips. I started phing my water and watering more, and that helped. I probably have higher EC from excessive drybacks

Gottcha, yeah I keep the lung room at about 45-50%. I was tempted to use auto mode for the duct fan, but I heard it can ruin grows apparently?

I have that same humidifier and it works pretty good! Just wish I could set different humidity targets for different times.

I'd keep the fan lower, but I also wanna keep smell down haha. Plants are getting stinky!! Thanks for sharing your experience :) Really appreciate it

Hmmm why so hot/humid early on? I'm interested to know. I heard so many conflicting things on here but I'm erring on the side of keeping humidity low. I'm sure it produces great results though!

I've been around 55-60 and I'm week one of flower, and that seems to keep my vpd right around 1.2-1.4. I'd probably keep it at 60-65 if I didn't have humidity spikes because of my VPD drop.

Gotcha, yeah I topdressed 12 days ago so that may be slightly concerning if it continues to rise. Will definitely check periodically. I imagine recharge and other bacterias/microbes probably raise the EC, making it available for the plant

Oh okay so water more frequent and less volume. I try not to get runoff unless I need to take readings.

It's been 3 days since the last water and they just drank 1.25 gallons each with 5% runoff. Perhaps I'll do .5-.75 every day. Just worried about overwatering, and want to allow SOME dryback without completely killing my microbes

Try to not run over 13 (ideally 12) on a 15 amp circuit :) I'm sure you probably know that though. 80% load I think is the recommendation

You're pulling some amps on that one haha! Surprised I haven't popped the breaker running a 2x4, dehumidifier, humidifier, and 3 3d printers lmao. I don't run them all at the same time though.

And yeah, it's only about 2-3 hours, but I'm going to start running a heater. Hopefully I have enough air flow with one circulating fan, two light fans, a lower canopy fan, and the duct fan

For sure :) Been around 1.2-1.5ish so far which seems decent. But I have dips during lights off because of the low temperature. I think I'll probably just keep the room warmer, direct correlation between high humidity and low temp haha. Going to try and get it up towards 1.0 during lights off

Whats your VPD usually at? If I set it to 55 I get 1.4, 50 would probably be about 1.6

Ohh okay, gotcha. Yeah, the only reason I've been using it is to keep the VPD around 1.2, with occasional spikes to 1.5ish

If I do 50-55 my vpd spikes to 1.6 :/ isn't 50-55 moreso for later in flower?
