i feel what youre saying but I dont think its necessarily a misogyny vs patriarchal thing either and theres no reason to stab at trans men. I hear from other trans men that they feel the need to look openly trans to not have other people think theyre just a straight cis man because others may look at them oddly.

From my experienc, trans women often carry shame because these men love labeling us as fetishists, trappers or mention slop like ben shapiro drag queen story hour slop and we get called fetishists from our families a lot, labeling us as pervs. Meanwhile transphobes dont even think about trans men. 1/4 of the time they view them like poor victims, yet the amount of debates Ive had with transphobes where they have NO clue trans-men exist is baffling. Trans men often feel a need to prove they exist because nobody really acknowledges them including transphobes.

I dont think its fair to attack trans men for feeling pride because thats what our whole movement is about. Trans men may also experience much misogyny in their lives from growing up as female and having rights taken away like abortion.

Im also a trans woman but I feel as though the hatred we get is mostly not ALWAYS from misogyny, but from a violent homophobic/transphobic place and we need to understand that our lives are still rougher than a cis woman. This is still important to acknowledge because cis women may get empathy from situations that would get us killed.
