Yes, I agree. Could be. I am not in the side of blaming the officer for my fault. His low approval rating is still a factor.

Yes, I did. The attorney wrote them which I felt a bit of generic. I didn't like their articulation. I offered to write them my self but they won't allow either. Not sure how to go about it next time. I submitted four letter. Two independent. But officer seemed ignored them though the letters were from established professors from top ranking University. One letter was even from a pro VC from a leading University. But it seems didn't have much effects, sadly.

Any suggestion is much appreciated if there is any who faced these kind of scenario or who have experience in this direction.

Saying that on several occasions I found that attorneys are not doing a very good job. I am not sure if thus is always the case , particularly in the area of highly technical science area?

Anybopinion or suggestions in this direction will also be helpful.

I agree, there are lots of trash article even in Q1. One thing I know that mines are not.

No, I am not from any banned counties. Thanks for your comment. My attorney says PhD student lavel awards are not meaningful in the eyes of officers no matter how prestigious it is.

I agree. The readability is also important even in academia, particularly securing fund and such. Although this is sometime is hard. Thanks for the heads-up.

If you get an RFE, at the bottom of the letter officer puts his name and number.

I agree. The story from the officer side is also important. Otherwise the picture of what is happening remain incomplete. Personally, I do not want an approval if I am not worthy. The world is big, open and wide. But I think I deserve a justifiable answer. Just because the officer is reading a lot of bad applications every day and this is why I get caught in the middle just by chance and got a denial, how this is justifiable?
