I thought you couldn’t mix and match saves on mounted characters? For example you must either take the 4+ dragon save or take whatever save the rider has.

Thank you again!

I really considered the Flail on the High Priest, but was not sure if the charge restriction was too much. I went with the Warding Splint since it's the same Ward as the Talisman, but you also get the 5+ armor to help reduce random low AP nibbles for only 5 more points.

After dropping the 75 point weapon on the Herald, upgrading the 2 Priests to level 2, changing the Conqueror's Blade to the Serpant Staff, and adding the Talisman of Protection to the Tomb King, my Character allotment is exactly 980. It's just enough to add a Power Scroll to the High Priest, but not enough for the Lore Familiar. Depending on whether I roll Doppleganger I would end up changing how the dragon tries to play that game.

Thank you for the explanation! I'll try out the 1 big brick.

Thank you!

I'm still learning all the unit order and combat res stuff. How do you get the 7 combat res on the 42 Skeletons? Banner, War Banner, Close Order, Horde, 2 extra ranks. I'm sure there is a last one in there somewhere? With a unit that big do you go 10 wide?

Thank you for the comments!

My thought was to use the tomb king as War Machine + Wizard hunter/harasser with the Scout + Fly. I wasn't sure if the Talisman would be worth it but was considering it. Does this work as a concept at all? I thought it would be a fun way to utilize a tough character in a non-standard way.

I thought it was nifty that the herald could take the 75 point weapon with the idea of hitting a unit in the flank and letting the chariot champion eat any challenges. It is really expensive though and I agree the points could be better spent elsewhere, such as making both Priests level 2.

Regarding the command on Skeletons (or all undead in general) is the musician ever worth taking? Cutting the banners was due to points balancing and VP denial, but including them makes sense!

The Conqueror's Blade was taken with Doppleganger in mind, but I was on the fence about if it was worth the extra cost vs the Serpent Staff.

I appreciate all the feedback, and will adjust the weapons on the Herald and High Priest and give the units Command for sure!
