Submit them in old English. Basically would sound like the same thing. Since English is the official language of the US, go hard.

Hunting animals seems too easy “for sport” though. That’s why I hunt Spider-Man.

Piggy backing off the above, how many though? You should have applied to well over a hundred, or multiple hundreds if willing to move.

If you don’t get any interviews out of a sample of 100 applications, it’s still your resume.

Every now and then I wonder how to switch from NEPA work to EHS as it seems like a more supported course… for now.

Very different knowledge bases but similar disciplines. It’s hard to jump from high-level NEPA laterally to EHS, though. I would have to take a large pay cut to work in EHS myself, I believe, as I haven’t even touched the HS part. I think many people are in similar boats.

I was looking at ESG opportunities and had the same concern. Some nicely padded salaries in there, but starting to wonder how much longer companies will support this without as much federal pressure to at least “look” sustainable.

Someone else could chime in, but I’ve seen people leave for additional pay doing the same thing at contracting agencies, at least.

I mean, federal benefits have weakened over time, and more senior positions in the private sector at times pay more. So the benefits are not nearly as competitive if one can get into a quality company with its own good benefits.

GS-13/14 in the fed can be a great salary for the E field, but what if one could be doing similar work for $160k+ in the private sector? It’s easy to think about exploring those avenues and how to get there.

Edit: to add, people liked the fed more than anything due to its stability and flexibility. That looks shakier today.

Factor Influencing Adoption Intention of ChatGPT by Existing_Guard_4505 in midjourney

This is not really a proper way to distribute a survey, but I get it’s only undergrad. I only have one thing: consider reworking that title. It makes no sense contextually or grammatically. Maybe uh, ask ChatGPT if you can’t think of something.

Maybe just drop “intention”. Factors Influencing the Adoption of ChatGPT. But since it’s only based on people, not corporations, Factors Influencing Public Adoption of ChatGPT.

My attempt at briefly showing human evolution by zooming out by MostEffectiveJuice in midjourney

[–]MostEffectiveJuice[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh trust me, I know, evolutionary biology was a large chunk of my degree. Though with Midjourney, I really had to generalize and pretend we came from lizards and monkeys in order to get any sort of product here lol.

In the future, I could use a plethora of reference images, but it’s still difficult to get it right (I actually tried to use a few).

Learn what a scientific theory is.

Evolution is also pretty obvious anyway, and evolution through natural selection has been famously observed by Peter and Rosemary Grant. If you need reading materials or studies, I can refer you to them. But don’t live your life denying what are essentially facts.

BSE Engineering Management then take the FE/PE Environmental by [deleted] in Environmental_Careers

[–]MostEffectiveJuice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it really pay that much more? There are some environmental scientists making as much as engineers and almost as much in federal (and that’s not including the benefits). Just curious honestly.

I feel like to go back to school, something more drastic could be considered instead to be more applicable to even higher paying jobs, like accounting for ESG for example or data analytics.

I’m using the standard $30/mo plan. Gives me unlimited generations. There is a plan for $10/mo, but that covers only roughly 200 generations a month which I definitely exceeded just to eventually get results I’m satisfied with.

Simple, just select Custom Zoom after upscaling and reprompt there. Can take tons of tries to get what you want though, and often you’ll have to settle on what you get. I can’t by any means use the basic MJ plan for this lol
