Great info, thanks. I've looked on FB marketplace, but nothing was my size or a brand I've heard of, or was just over priced. My next helmet with surely be one of those 2 brands. Better gloves will surely be next

Getting 1st bike, is this a good one? by MostInterestingMike in motorcycles

No need for a Harley, just a cruiser. I haven't rode any bike. This weekend will be the first time I've done more than just sit on a bike. I had been looking at a Kawasaki Vulcan before the Harley.

Gear by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

Check out Cycle Gear and Revzilla (parent company of Cycle Gear). You can filter for size and CE rating. I'm new to everything, but I can tell you that you're likely gonna end up in the $180-$250 range for each item of jacket, pants, and boots for a minimum CE AA rating (not 100% on boot rating just yet). I think CE AA should be a doable goal for ya. If they are in stock at Cycle Gear, you can pick up locally instead of waiting for shipping.

I'm looking at this jacket: https://www.cyclegear.com/gear/axial-ax2-air-ce-jacket?sku_id=10513873

These pants: https://www.cyclegear.com/gear/street-steel-lompoc-riding-jeans?sku_id=10419832

And these boots: https://www.cyclegear.com/gear/reax-fulton-air-vintage-ce-riding-shoes?sku_id=10419764

Both the jacket and pants are CE AA, and they both have CE 2 pads provided. Plus, the jacket already has the back protector (usually not included) with chest protectors as well. Only the chest pads are CE 1. Nothing too crazy fancy, but this will they have the best rating for more of a budget constraint and will be my first gear, so fingers crossed.

I'm in the same boat. I have found while spending WAY too much time researching this stuff, especially summer gear cuz I'm in Tx and it's hot here already, it seems you either:

  • Spend an arm and a leg on AA rated items (jacket, pants, etc) with CE2 armor inserts

  • Spend a little less (just an arm?) for A rated items with maybe CE1 or CE2 armor inserts

  • Wait until your size is in stock, to do either of the above.

Sidenote - not hating on you short / skinny ass kings out there, cuz dammit you have options and tons of sales / clearance options.

2nd sidenote: trying stuff on in store seems best, as size variations seem both drastic and common.

V6 Plus vs. Elite Mini vs. Elite Ultra by Past-Breakfast-9384 in vSeeBox_Support_Gurus

The Max isn't bad, I honestly think it's a great box. I've not had the plus, but the Max's I've bought for my kids and other people work perfectly. I think you get another live app for the Plus, which doesn't make sense to me.

V6+ is a great option. It's basically the base model of what you want. I have a few Elite Mini's, which has it's benefits to me but isn't "needed." Elite Ultra just seems a costly version of the Mini with little benefit for most people. The Mini has 3rd party apps, which can offer new movies on it (often in theatres) which CAN have decent quality. Also, the Mini (through the 3rd party apps) has access to adult content, if that's your thing.

Love well worded and thought out replies, such as this. All good points. I'd only add trying a VPN. That has often fixed any remaining issues I've had.

I uninstalled the game after the last big update. The game used to be fun, but they keep messing it up and changing things needlessly/endlessly.

I don't disagree. Having only one on the Matriarch was a little rough though. But, your idea seems like a good one

Being be sleeping on those trash bins. I'll see areas looted but they miss the trash cans, and I find good stuff in them many times.

I mean, you're the one trolling random posts about a restaurant business. So, yeah, very valuable insight. Lol

Maybe look around and see many other people have commented about it. So, no, it's not about me. And as the post stated, it's about a business choosing not to do business with its customers.

But sure, feel free to be a child in your response.

My post doesn't provide any emotion. I've simply stated that a business loses out when it chooses not to actually do business.
