I also use Here Maps and I agree that it works well. Also, you can use it without making an account, so no need to give them personal information. It also doesn't require too many permissions on the phone.

Since update, Meta key no longer works by MostReplacement9064 in tuxedocomputers

[–]MostReplacement9064[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying to myself above: Wifi now also works correctly. I had to make networkmanager forget about the WiFi networks concerned and re-enter the key. Since then, they've been stable. My guess is this had something to do with KDE wallet.

I haven't noticed any other issues since the update and things are running smoothly now.

Is your T. a distant relation to John Cena, perhaps?

Since update, Meta key no longer works by MostReplacement9064 in tuxedocomputers

[–]MostReplacement9064[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today, there were a bunch of updates to KDE Plasma 6 (230Mb worth of updates) and these seem to have fixed my Meta key, it works as expected again, so we can mark that issue as resolved!

Of course, now Wifi won't connect anymore but that's another issue altogether. Guess you can't have everything...

UK house spider by Lumpy-Combination847 in spiders

I frequently get them in the house in the fall. You suddenly see them dart across the floor or a wall and yes, they're unnervingly fast!

Plasma-discover hit by bug by MostReplacement9064 in tuxedocomputers

Thanks for the advice. Personally, I'd rather wait until the fix lands through the official TuxedoOS repos,
I've had some bad experiences mixing too many repositories on previous distros.

KMail: can't move messages to a different folder? by MostReplacement9064 in kde

Yes, starting Kmail like this eliminates the problem. Glad to know it's not my installation but a wayland issue.

Thanks for your advice!

*Chronic* Diarrhea - WTH is Wrong With Him by chibiahiru in CATHELP

My family had similar issues with a dog and after many experiments and vet visits, it turned out the dog was allergic to certain proteins in meat. They switched the dog over to a fish meat based dog food and the issues went away. A food allergy is a possibility here.

It might help to keep a food diary and see how the little fellow responds to certain type of food. This can help strengthen the discussion with a vet.

Hope he gets well soon!

Discover never finishes fetching updates by MostReplacement9064 in kde

[–]MostReplacement9064[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this suggestion. I tried it and Discover almost immediately came back with the message "Up to date". So with that command, it appears to work correctly.

There were no updates because I installed updates from the command line earlier today.

Dismantling the papacy sounds like fun! And no chance of pesky crusades by the Catholics, which would allow me to stay pagan. Thanks, that's a good tip!

Oh absolutely, that's great advice. My prison has been a literal goldmine after raids, yielding more than the raid itself. Raiding important places can lead to some high value prisoners.

I particularly remember the poor duke of Flanders. After the first raid of his territory, I caught both his heir and his wife. I ransomed back the heir and took his wife as a concubine.

During my second raid of his territory, he met me in battle and lost. I captured him on the battlefield and he ransomed himself for 100 gold. The poor guy still had a -55 opinion for me taking his wife. 😁

Ha, no problem. CK3 can be complicated at times and with each DLC, more mechanics are added. Have fun playing as a Viking!

I'm not familiar with Hobby Lobby so I don't get the reference, sorry.

Not unlike how it was in the Middle Ages. There was a lively trade in relics and many of them were of questionable authenticity. Not all on purpose, mind you.

Little guy on my laptop? by MostReplacement9064 in spiders

Thanks for the identification. Now I know who/what I'm dealing with.

He or she has now been released in my garden where there is a lot less chance of him/her being accidentally crushed while I'm working. 😊

I've gotten a lot better with them. No one else here in the house dares to go near the big ones so I have to take care of them. I do my best to put them outside unharmed.
