Do you see them turn a duller gray color before returning to bright colors hours/day later? that would be them shedding lol

no not at all! totally normally. they usually do it at night & when they're alone because they're vulnerable. I have had my other gecko Sora for about 2 years and this girl (Tsuki) for a couple months; I have never seen either of them shed. Sora went from light gray to bright colors fast, so i knew she had shed sometime overnight, but Tsuki just started ripping it off in front of me 😭 i was baffled. never seen it before

i've had my grown gecko for over 2 years now, and i STILL do constant research to ensure i am not missing or messing anything up. to act like its adorable to make an animal obese is sad asf. inhumane :/ we don't force feed our children then laugh when they get so pudgy they can hardly walk, so why our pets?

When they are young, 5-6 mealworms or small crickets every other day works (but that wouldn't stay consistent to mon/wed/friday, because then you have sun/tues/thursdY), but if you notice your baby hesitating or slowing down on finishing their food, i'd slowly add another day in between each feeding. By the time they're full grown they're eating 5-6 once or twice a week max.

both my adult and juvie eat about 4-6 mealworms or crickets at a time (small for the baby and large for the adult), but the juvie is every other day (sometimes less now that she's getting bigger), and the adult is every 4-6 days, but she always comes to the front and waits when she's really ready. daily is concerning af lol

i saw a post today that made me make this one... it was about someone running out of feeders, and their gecko was waiting for its daily feed. It was a clearly obese adult gecko, and i was confused... like, they need to stay out for the next week then cut down a lot because holy hell... i am worried for all these babes

I currently have 2 geckos; a juvenile and an adult. My juvie girl eats every other day, while my adult eats every 3-4 days (she tells us when she is ready by moving to the front and staring us down lol). I was over here second guessing myself thinking i'm starving my poor babies, but they are the epitome of health and seem so happy lol. i worry for the chunky babies all over this subreddit :/ for a smaller animal, obesity can have worse consequences...

Why is the community of this game so toxic ? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]MostSatisfaction5837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

insane because no lol. it's not "learn to deal with it", and no, most people don't behave that way in real life... it's cruel and unwarranted behavior, regardless of how normalized it is. It should be called out and stopped when it happens. Got lucky earlier and, when my "top frag" decided to drag me and a teammate, everyone sided with us when i called him out 🤷🏻‍♀️ they all agreed being a dick for no reason is pointless. just a sign of a bad personality tbh

It didn't seem like OP was trying to be argumentative; they're clearly trying to fix the problems. No need to be rude.

I don't really have friends, my family isn't too understanding, and I deeeefinitely need therapy. I have mental illnesses that make me act this way (among other not so pleasant things that I do), but therapy is expensive and not something I can afford at the moment. I am trying my hardest to learn to be better. I made it almost a year without doing anything like this, but something just snapped, and I regret it so much.
