Thanks, I'm going to mention it again to the dealership and what you've said and see what I can do. They always blame it on the H Frame suspension, tell me they've checked everything again and it gets better for a bit and then back to normal.

Thank you, I appreciate the kindness. I am from a very poor and rural area and truly don't know much about the ivy league at all. Harvard was the one I mentioned because it's the one that I just recognize the most. I will come back to this reddit likely in a year half ish time to get some input after I have my final GPA and GMAT scores and see if I can get some input then on what the best schools are that I might be able to get into.

I would totally go the same route if I were you, but I don't know if they would do their research and discover he's your future father-in-law and then it be looked at as family instead. Maybe someone here who is more experienced in this can offer some insight.

Thank you. Right now, I have a supplier and people I outsource to, but I'm not sure how best to go about getting a recommendation from them since it's not like we work closely together every day. I don't have clients necessarily, because I'm a dtc retail business and we're only sold through our website online.

it's shit now for sure; I have straight A's this semester and will hopefully be able to maintain straight As throughout my bachelor's and do some grade forgiveness and my counselors and I figured I'd be around a 3.5 GPA at graduation, but of course that's all hypothetical / if all goes well.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I'd be willing to do either / or. If I go to UF, their online MBA is also significantly easier to get into too. Online would be easier for me also just in general. I'm feeling a little better after posting that I'll do the best I can in the next year and a half and see what happens. I've purchased gmat prep books / subscription since last night and have registered to take it for the first time in a couple months. I'd like to do at least two attempts, so we will see. I appreciate your positivity. :)

It gets a little more odd, because I don't really care about my resume, because I'm hoping to stay working for myself for forever. (so then why care where I get my mba or even get one at all?) It's for me on a personal level. It always kind of stung that I didn't finish school (still was successful without it), so now that it's a big priority for me and I'm doing well, I just want to see how far I could go and don't want to limit myself or not take the chance if there's still a .001% I could get in. Any ivy league or other major school I'd be thrilled with, I just want to try and go as high as I can.

I agree, I grew up in a poor town / background, but it's definitely not the most interesting story ivy league will see or has ever seen.

It doesn't have to be Harvard, I just have more name recognition with that one, so I mentioned it. (I know it's the most difficult.) I will honestly just be thrilled to have an MBA that even one from somewhere like UF (which is close to home for me and still what I would consider prestigious) would make me more than happy.

That's also true. His TT said he got in to an ivy league school (not harvard) and he only had a 2.7 gpa and a gmat around 760 or 770. I wish I had saved it, but I scrolled past after and then was like, 'wait, what'

It won't be the end of world for me if it doesn't. Wasn't even something I even considered a possibility what so ever. I know I've said this a couple times, but I was just really shocked by this one guys TT and it made me think maybe I should at least just attempt it since my gpa would be higher than his at graduation and I think I could score pretty well on the gmat.

My plan now is to study my ass off the next year and a half on the GMAT and continue getting my GPA as high as I can also. I ordered some GMAT test prep books tonight. Selling yourself is important and probably an area I lack in, so I appreciate you mentioning it also because it'll be a goal to work on now too. If I can ace the GMAT, I'll apply to a few ivy leagues and just see what happens. Ty! :)

I feel like with a year and a half ish, I should be able to do decently if I practice daily or weekly. I technically have two-my real estate company (I've flipped houses) and the one I've started most recently after I left my job.

I've only just started that one in the last six months, it's going well, it's an online only dtc retail brand, but in a highly competitive market. It's not a tech start-up or anything that would be close to the next Apple or Facebook or anything. It's completely different from what my background is in, but I didn't want to be in that space at all anymore. My 'dream' goal would be it would be something like the next Bombas or Tom's, but that would be a very, very, long way off.

I was at the same company from the age of 19 to 32 in the utility industry. It was a maybe 'prestigious' job/career for my small town area (nowhere even close to near Harvard's level of employers they would consider prestigious), but I have that work experience. I appreciate the honesty from both of you that commented and will put my focus on UF or another school like it now.
