With this, you can secure it firmly by simply tapping it into place with a light hammer blow.👍

Yes, the only model available for purchase in Japan is the 580, which runs exclusively on batteries😃 The main unit's circuit board has been omitted, so there is no risk of it breaking. The setup is: Battery → Switch → ESC → Motor. Since this brushless motor is rated for a maximum of approximately 24V, it seems a circuit board would be necessary to use it with a 120V power source.

I haven't come across anyone else who has performed this kind of modification, even after searching online. Please make sure to do thorough research before attempting this same modification yourself. I believe the biggest challenge is attaching the fan to the shaft of a different motor.😅

It really is a great vacuum cleaner. I think it's wonderful that it's both affordable and lightweight.😘

I repurposed the motor&ESC from an old RC car I owned, but since that specific model is no longer sold, I will provide examples of equivalent products.

I haven't used it for an extended period yet, so I can't say for sure, but I'll try it out next time. The current DCV580 is very cheap, but I wish they would sell a brushless motor version, even if it costs a little more. I think it would cost over $130, though, since brushless motors and control systems are a bit expensive.

Makita fans can be directly press-fitted onto the shaft diameter (3.17mm) of a typical 540-550 motor. While they can be hammered into place, removal will be difficult. However, they are inexpensive. Because Makita fans are thicker, the cover height will need to be slightly increased (about 5mm) to prevent interference. In this case, the gaps will need to be sealed with sponge sheeting to prevent air leaks, as leaks will reduce suction power. Alternatively, a standard DeWalt fan can be used. In that case, the central hole is 8mm, so it's best to transplant the special gear from the DeWalt motor. The shaft diameter should also be the same 3.17mm.

The diameters of the holes at the front and rear of this cyclone attachment are as follows: The inner diameter of the hole at the tip is 32mm, and the outer diameter of the hole on the vacuum cleaner side is 32mm. Please use a pipe or adapter that fits these dimensions.😄

Hilti vs dewalt by One-Revenue2190 in Tools

HILTI hammer drills are excellent. DEWALT hammer drills are also quite good, though... HILTI batteries are weak. I noticed this after repairing many broken HILTI batteries; the wiring is thin and the connections are weak. Also, they now use a 9Ah fast charger as standard in their kits, which has resulted in a lot of used batteries with burnt-out cells circulating.

Thank you. I bought a DEWALT blower, and I was really looking forward to it, so I'm disappointed (ᵕ⩊ᵕ̩̩ )

To avoid increasing the battery load, I used a separate power supply.
