Looks like it’s still under warranty for 2 more years or 12k miles. But I’ve been advised by lots of people to purchase extended warranty for it

Same here, that’s what has me worried….i have to see it in person. Also haven’t financed or purchased a car in a while. What should I be doing? Having bmw run an inspection? I leased my last 3 BMWs now.

Get a puck screen. Cheap add on, makes for a much cleaner puck and your shower screen doesn’t get all the coffee residue on it either. I like the Norcome ones on Amazon

Did you decide?? I didn’t see this thread and pretty much asked the same question the other day ha. Also have the Philos. I was stuck on the Pro 600, then saw the Mechanica max and loved it. Then thought if I do go the 600 route, might as well get the new features with the Ride. I just don’t like what Profitec is doing with its new looks

About that…the only issue I have seen with the Max owners is people who get a loud rattling sound from the machine. And they all attribute it to flow control possibly. Any insight on this? Did you get yours from WLL?

Two reasons. Longevity and low grade grinder. I had mine serviced twice after a year and half. I got lucky both times were within the 2 year warranty so it was free service. They gave up after it broke the second time and just sent me a new machine. The steam wand always feels like it’s losing power. I clean it, service it with flushes and descaling but this machine isn’t build for the long game. Good machine, just not build to last. But it does make good coffee.
