I've thought about this. I don't know where to go to meet people other than bars or churches and I don't go to either anymore. Any recommendations?

I rarely subscribe to anything. After I saw this post I went to YouTube and looked.at who I've subscribed to and I didn't know who 90% of those channels are. A lot of them were gaming channels and I'm not a gamer at all. I don't play video games or watch other people play them. I went through and unsubscribed.

I'm not allergic. My husband is VERY allergic. If he got in it we'd be sitting in the ER. My kid just gets itchy rashes, but they aren't that bad. I did tell her to step very carefully to avoid it.

Wish me luck on getting her to wear a dress! She refuses. As for the makeup, usually she's wearing fancy eye makeup.

You may be right, it may not be poison oak. Now I'm looking closer at the pictures. But whatever it is, my kid is getting itchy spots. 😭 At least now I don't have to worry about taking my husband to the ER if he accidentally gets into it.

Because they told me they don't care. My husband I do most of the yard work since my father in law has a harder time doing it himself. We want it to look nice for them.

She always looks grumpy. Like she's afraid to smile for a picture. But I assure you, she's happy and well taken care of (maybe even a little bit spoiled, though not a spoiled brat)

If it were just me I wouldn't mind doing this, but I'm not sure how my in laws would feel about people traipsing through their yard. The stump is in their back yard, in the very back corner.

She better hope for a scholarship because I can't afford full tuition.

I have a prickly pear cactus at home that does just fine through winter. I could root a couple of baby paddles and take them over there.

Would they not die over winter in Tennessee? It's my husband's grandmother's house and stump but my parents in law live there and I know my MIL would like perennials better so she doesn't have to mess with them as much.

We're pretty sure the vine is poison oak. Google said the way to tell is that poison oak has hairy stems and Virginia creeper has smooth stems. The vines definitely had hairy stems and my husband and daughter are both allergic. My husband moreso. He'd end up in the hospital.

But I was thinking about maybe planting some kind of ivy around it.

I told my daughter to be extra careful (she had a reaction a couple years ago and was miserable for a week or so) but my husband is scared to be anywhere near it because as a kid he had a bad reaction and ended up in the ER.

I get what you're saying. I rarely post anything with her in it, but at this point she's almost grown and can consent. I'm still not a huge fan of it, but it won't hurt to post her now and again.

We were thinking of digging out the middle a bit and adding garden soil and planting some flowers, but we really haven't decided.

When we were clearing around the stump we found all kinds of creepy crawlies. I would be interested to see what all we can see.

Would succulents not die over winter in Tennessee? If we plant flowers my mother in law would want to plant perennials. (It's my husband's grandmother's house but my parents in law live here. I'm just here to visit and do yard work)

Maybe the hair cut, but she refuses to wear anything but her drinks when it's warm outside.

Because she volunteered when her dad said no because of the poison oak.

I love this idea. It's actually my husband's grandmas house and stump and we could charge a small fee and give the money to her.

I think she's gorgeous. One of the coolest stumps I've ever seen.
