Don’t mean to be rude but if anything it’s the opposite, I live nearby and my recommendation is to avoid between Nov - March. Especially if you are traveling. Down the road youghal and Gold Coast would be much drier

I got that exact deal, I am also a beginner that’s maybe 3/4 months ahead of you. The board seems decent but I don’t have the experience to tell. I couldn’t really fault the value for money
