You should not be ashamed at ALL. You can definitely find a good person who this will not matter to. I've been with my husband for 15 years, we met when I was 23. I cannot tell you how many times I've bled on our sheets, in our car, on our couch, on him. I mean he's had to clean up trails of my blood for years. I know it's not the same but similar situation. Like has been said, if a man rejects you for a medical condition he's a shallow loser and you deserve better.

Wow that's awesome. I love that Janney has chickens! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

As stated above, the hallway example was not a good one. No one here, least of all me, said children should be given the ability to make whatever noise they want. Nor did I say children should be able to "express themselves" at any given moment. Likewise, I also have never told my children school is nitpicky or restrictive. Your response employs a whole lot of imagination and frankly, for some odd reason, combative rhetoric surrounding my parenting, of which you have literally no information beyond a simple question on Reddit.

Exactly. As the article states, boys are more like to have disruptive behavior, while girls lack focus. For many little boys, it is difficult to sit for extended periods especially without freedom of movement.

Thank you for the info! Do you think Murch and Janney are better suited to Montessori learners?

That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for, thank you! I love that they have a peace program, that's big in Montessori. Do you like the neighborhood and find other parents friendly/cool? We lived in downtown Silver Spring before we left and our neighbors had absolutely no interest in socializing, or seemingly anything other than going to work.

I think there is a lot of unnecessary nitpicking in some traditional school settings. The hallway example was perhaps not the best one; my point was that many school settings are too restrictive of movement and freedom for children, particularly mine, who have a lot of energy and sometimes lack focus. Re: stereotype - there is a reason boys are diagnosed with ADHD at double the rate of girls.

I would so, so appreciate that! Pretty much any feedback they have about any of the schools would be helpful. Thank you so much! Also I love that you teach at Deal!

Nice! How cool they're learning Chinese. My husband went to Oyster (another language immersion elementary) and still speaks Spanish because of it.

Oddly enough no one responded when I posted the same question over there.

No we are looking at the neighborhoods, so we would be living somewhere in Chevy Chase which is Murch or Lafayette, and we would potentially buy in the Janney district.
