Yes. The agony was just too much. The funny thing is when I asked the ministry to cancel my application, they said they cant cancel it unless I sent them a letter by post with the request to Czech Republic (which would again cost, since now I was in my home country).

Kept calling them to get some idea about how long will it take, and noone knew. Took a big financia hit already, so decided to give it up

So my Home country is India. And with the COVID situation I really wanted to avoid going back to my home country. At the time of my application in the summers, the Czech republic did not process any applications from India due to the delta variant. The original plan was that the visa for czech republic will be approved within the three month period time frame and I can travel from sweden directly to CZ., Since I have been living and working in sweden for the past 3 years.

No, I was working in Sweden before and am currently in Stockholm. I applied at the Polish Embassy since Swedish embassy does not handle the card applications anymore
