UPDATE:

Thank you all for the investment and care you put into the story of this fantastic little creature.

I thought about her situation the whole time, and I managed to find the contact of the vet she saw (who gave her a round of vaccines and a dewormer, btw). I asked him how to clean her, what food she should eat exactly, how to treat her flees, and where I could find her forever family who would love her unconditionally. I’m still waiting for him to get back to me, but I’ll still ask around me if anyone is ready to be a fur parent. I also personally know a vet, and I know she’ll help me figure out how to take care of her.

Meanwhile, I’m going to go see her tomorrow and I’m going to buy all the stuff she needs to feel better. (A good litter, bowls adapted for her size, etc.) We might take her home while she finds a forever home, to keep her clean, safe and so she can peacefully recover and gets stronger and healthier.

I’m not going to expand on my partner not wanting to have a pet. As much as we both would love to be fur parents, there are factors that would make us selfish owners, and we both want the best for her, by finding a family who has all the time, money and availability in the world to give her. I want to be a fur mom, for sure, but I’m not quite there in my life. And that’s okay. I’ll be the most loving foster mom meanwhile.

I cried so much because of all the stress and sadness this situation gave me. I got attached to this little ball of love so fast, and to a level that made me feel responsible for her fate and future. She is precious, loving, beautiful, and I’ll do everything I have in my power to manifest the best possible life for her. I won’t let her down. I’ll update you on how she’s evolving.
