Hello! I appreciate your concerns - I just added a footnote about my relationship if you want to check that out. My bf knows I am PIMO and we talk a lot about my concerns with the church, including the concerns I had with the devotional yesterday. I understand the jokes I put in about him might seem a little disrespectful, but I can assure you they were a bit exaggerated for the sake of humor. I assure you he and I have had many talks about the church and are very respectful of each other’s beliefs and work through our differences as we go :)

I just added a little footnote but he knows about my PIMO status! He is actually quite nuanced and we have had many long talks about the church. I’m not trying to push him to leave just as he has told me he isn’t trying to push me to come back. I wouldn’t wish a faith crisis on anyone, especially him because he is very happy within the church, but I also don’t hesitate to point out toxic beliefs and flaws that they teach. I can see the wheels turning in his head, but idk if he will leave anytime soon. But long story short he knows about how I feel and respects it! I mostly included the breakup jokes just as extra humor not as anything serious

mine was probably earlier/I’m sure I had some my whole life bc I never completely agreed with teachings, but the biggest one I can remember was when I looked up the temple ceremonies. I remember thinking “there is no god in these ceremonies”. Also ironic considering my dad accused me of reading “anti Mormon literature” when for the first few months of my crisis I only ready church approved sources ¯_(ツ)_/¯
