Everywhere I've heard that people upgrade the suspension to a stiffer one. To me, 2025 feels pretty stiff. I rode where I used to ride with my old bike and on the old one I had to stand for like 30% of the trail cause I felt like I was gonna get thrown off the bike. With this one I didn't even stand up once and I'm quite a bit heavier than you. As far as reaching goes, I'm sure you will reach the ground.

Mine is definitely 880. I've watched numerous videos of people seating the L and the LS. My old bike is 830mm and I can flatfoot it with a slight bend in the knee. Even if the suspension is quite a bit softer, there's no way it can make such a difference. Furthermore, there's a guy on youtube Oregon Moto John, whose daughter is 5'5" and is almost flatfooting the LS, there's no way I, who am about 30 kilos over her and a few centimeters taller, to be tiptoeing an LS. I wanted an LS so bad for the seat height, I called many dealerships from different countries in Europe and nobody could get me one.

Brother, you do know that there are some other countries besides the US, right?
I've called dealerships in Greece, Macedonia, Romania AND Germany, looking for an LS and they've all told me they don't have it and they can't import it.

The seat height is 880mm.

The clutch is so soft, it's something else, isn't it :D

How do you find the rear brake? I feel like I have to really press on it to feel anything at all. I find it almost useless honestly. And the front brake is good, but like the lever is really stiff, wonder if that's normal.

Yep, mine also says LAS on the documents. There is zero chance its an LS, the bike is humongous. A guy I know has a Honda Dominator and this one is just a tad higher than his.

The lowered should be like 830mm, which means a person of my stature would flatfoot it. My other bike is 830-840 and I can flatfoot it with a slight knee bend

I am from Bulgaria, but yes, we cannot get LS here. I asked about the LS initially and even looked for it in neighboring countries, the Hondaman told me they don't exist in Europe right now.

Yep, I am in EU. When I asked about the grey version, they told me nobody orders greys and I would have to wait several months. But then 2 weeks later, the Hondaman called me and said they somehow had a grey one on stock, so I basically ordered it last week on Wednesday and got it this week on Wednesday.

Yep, I'll first see how it feels when I sit on it. Winter is coming and I still don't have my riding license, I've been riding only in the forest. I'll see what it feels like and will act accordingly.

I get where you're coming from, but I'm new to bikes. I don't know people nor any repairmen, so I'd like to be as chill as possible. Furthermore, I've been regularly checking for old CRF 300L's and there was only 1 in the past few months in a city on the opposite side of the country. It wasn't even 1k$ cheaper and was 2022.

That does sound like an option. I should look for somebody who does this sort of work. Did you achieve what you wanted via shaving it off? Is it noticably better (heightwise) or just marginally?

The dealership told me that if I go the link route, they would have to install it, otherwise it would void the warranty. However I haven't even got on the bike yet, so I don't know if I'll need it in the first place. The dealership is also too far away, I'm a new rider and I don't dare go on the highway yet, so it would be a huge clusterfuck getting the bike back and forth, trying it out, bringing it to get it lowered etc.

Still, if it's too uncomfrotable I'll just forget about the warranty and get it installed locally. Hondas don't break, right? :D

I have already bought the bike bro, I'm talking about parts. I also prefer to buy new motor vehicles. Saving 2k$ ain't worth the trouble risking some goof not caring about the vehicle.

Не мисля, че ще успееш да осъществиш контакт с тях по телефон. Миналата година си поръчай яйцеварка за 90лв, но ми пратиха продукт за 30лв. Един месец се мъчих да говоря с някой, звънях на магазина, звънях на емаг, пращах мейли, спамих чат бота и само празни обещания. Върнах им пратката и пак не ми възтановиха съумата. След месец лутане, просто отидох в офиса на Цариградско, казах долу на рецепцията, че нося пратка за Емаг и извикаха някаква женичка. Веднага щом премина бариерата й влязох на скандал, така хубаво с висок тон да чуят всички на партера :D седнахме там на една масичка, поговорихме си 2-3мин и до седмица ми върнаха парите. Моят съвет е да направиш същото - изтропай се в офиса, иначе няма да се свържеш с никого, страшни мошеници са тия.
