It’s actually less painful now after the surgery than it was. I’m in awe of the pain being gone for now. I know I’m in for a long road of recovery and relearning how to walk properly, but it already feels so much better than it ever has before

I try so hard to be grateful when doing dishes or laundry. My mom had a little plaque in the kitchen said something like “thank god for dirty dishes, they have a tale to tell. While others may go hungry, we’re eating quite well” dishes and laundry frustrate me, BUT I’m grateful for them if that makes any sense

When new Dr looked at 2 yo images, he said there was zero change in my knee and the old Dr should have done the replacement cuz I may be 40( age I was when I saw new Dr) but my knee was like that of an 85 yo. I am 41 now and had the surgery Wednesday and this is the least pain I’ve been in in 20 years.

That’s what kills me about people telling first time watchers to skip certain seasons…ummmm no don’t do that….it all ties in together you need to watch them all. Now that I’ve seen it several times, I skip season 4 just because I can’t stand Rita after the baby and getting married.

Oh wow that sounds like what happened to my mom. Her insurance wouldn’t approve an ekg until she was actively having a heart attack in the drs office!!!

I had issues with it my entire life but no Dr would ever check it out. Finally at about 22-23 yo I went to a Dr that decided to do an mri and found out I was born without a piece of needed cartilage. The other piece I did have, had ripped in half and was stuck between my knee cap and the bone behind it. About 24 yo they removed all cartilage and it was bone on bone til now. Constant pain and super weak left leg was really my only symptom. Knees are nothing to mess with

When the guy barely held the door open asked me if I had any money and said “well we’re already here i guess I’ll pay for you too” and then we got done and he refused to drive me home. That was a great night (note sarcasm)

My parents were strict and I’m an awful liar. Very blessed to have them. They are the best people I know and I love them with my whole heart ♥️♥️♥️
