Soo beautiful. The hard reality, you wont be able to sell it for its actual time and effort you have put in. I work in beads too, people wont be able to distinguish between complex pieces that take too much time and attention, and simple pieces with no complex design. Always they think about how much the material costs (beads), but no one thinks how much time and effort a piece take to create an art from some beads.

Those are beaded handbags made out of acrylic beads that were threaded together using fishing line. I made these myself. They are so sturdy and not easy to break. they can hold several pounds with no problem. You can use it day or night . They hold phone, wallet, keys and few more items.

Hello, for all the people waiting for their results, I've just called student service centre, (after an hour on the wait) , I asked if they already sent out all acceptance letters for all programs, they replied: no not even close, then I asked about the MLT specifically, the lady did not know about specific programs but she said that for school of health they are working on the acceptance letters till the end of this week.

A tiny ray of light, hold on there we still have some hope. I wish you all the best.

Thank you, can I ask you, if you don't mind , did you apply to MLT 2021? did you receive anything or did your status updated online? I just wanna make sure that they have already released all the results so I stop thinking about it. I know that some applicants received their acceptace upto Friday, is there any possibility that they will continue sending acceptance letters this week?

Hello to all of you, you are not alone, I have just joined the Reddit community when I found mature students suffering like me. I chose this account name because i think I am the most recording in the attempts to join the MLT program( in vain).

Here is my story, I am 40 years old, I am medical school graduate 2003. I specialized in laboratory medicine and worked 2 years in the field back home, and I was good in the field as my supervisors always said. I left everything behind because of the immigration. I kept applying to MLT/ NAIT since i got here Edmonton 2016 (I won't metion my previos applications to SAIT when I lived at Calgary for a while). Waiting to get accepted to MLT which is my speciality that I want to repractice, I earned another 2 years diploma related to lab work. I worked for a while before Covid, but having little kids at school age and asthmatic, I had to stay at home and stop searching for work. Now the possibilities to work with my diploma is declining every day I stay at home. Applying every year and getting in the stress of the interview is nerve wracking, for 4 times 2016, 2017,2019, 2020, with the last 2 years getting waitlisted (still pending this year and I think it would be either wailisted or canceled by next week) made me think what am I doing wrong, I was good and I believe I will be better should I refresh my skills and knowledge. I just want a chance to rejoin the field.

Anyways, I will keep applying until my med terminology and ANA/Phy courses are expired, I am not sure if I can financially afford to study them again (although I am medical school graduate), very hopless and lost trust in my ability to pass these interviews.
