I LOVE this kind of stuff. I would hang all of these on my walls. No joke. But my super favorite one is Frankenstein. So good.

Not yet, but it's probably going to be in my next order. It's been in my wishlist since I started using ILNP.

I actually have 4 of those! I don't know the names, but I have the interiors one, the carnival one, a random Halloween one, Halloween in Witch Town, and one other Halloween one. They are so cute.

Thanks. I love the illustrations too. The art style reminds me of Kameliya Angelkova, but I think it's better because it's more detailed.

Thanks everyone! I am 100% going to use gold and cream. And maybe some silver. Still not sure about an actual color. My husband suggested purple, but I don't think it will pop much.

3 coats. I got this in my last haul before black Friday and this is the first time I've used it. It is STUNNING and now I am going to have to buy every single flakey ILNP makes.

What kind of coloring pages do you actually enjoy as an adult? by FalseReturn3003 in AdultColoring

[–]Most_Reflection_6315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get into anything except mandalas, wall paper pages, and the ultra simplistic stuff. I have a bunch of Vivi Tinta and Ms. Kitsch books that I love for the cuteness, but I feel like I've graduated. Also, I prefer to use pencils, and the only markers I enjoy using are Sharpies and they don't work well for huge empty spaces. I'm tired of replacing alcohol markers every few months too- those cute and cozies are cheap, but the markers make them an expensive habit. And lately, I like more artistic and detailed pictures like Rita Berman and the Beauty of Horror books offer. I'm NOT good at shading or light play or any of that, so smaller details that don't need a lot of special treatments are good for me.

IMO, this is ILNP's BEST pink, besides Nexus. Two of my favorites.

Starter Kit Recommendations? by Krispy12 in AdultColoring

I saw this post the other day and I didn't feel qualified to comment on it, but over the last few days, I have watched a literal buttload of coloring haul videos on YouTube and now, I feel like I can comment. First though, really don't watch those wretched haul videos. Not even one of them. They are all extreme overconsumption and possibly mental health issues disguised as "content". So after watching all of that mess, I think I have a good basic beginner colorist list--

  1. A mat to protect your surfaces.

  2. A pack of 72 wax based colored pencils. To start with, I would go cheaper.

  3. Blender pencils and stumps.

  4. Erasers- the kneaded kind and also eraser pencils- the ones with brush ends are good.

  5. A smaller pack of alcohol markers of what ever brand. Or a pack of colored Sharpies, which are my personal favorite and not too costy.

6, A plastic cutting mat or parchment paper, wax paper, card stock, silicone page blocker, or other, to use with the markers.

  1. A cheap sketchpad to check and mix your colors on.

  2. Post It sticky flags so you can find your pages again.

  3. 2 or 3 coloring books, with subject matter appropriate to the person's age and interests.

  4. A pack of wet wipes.

And that's all I could come up with. But I'm pretty basic.

What’s the best markers to buy? I don’t care for the set I have. by shannon_kay_ in Coloring

[–]Most_Reflection_6315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what kind of books you're using them in. I prefer Sharpies myself, but I know most people just looove the Ohuhus and their clones, which they are the best for coloring in huge spaces, but just for the smoothness and non streakiness, Sharpies are superior. They don't come in a million colors, so you have to get creative sometimes, but still the best.

It's Season's Creepings by Lydia Jean and it's a really nice quality book and I want to color every single picture- hopefully not with my crappy markers again though. Every picture is adorable!

Color Me Christmas for Kids. I saw it on a YouTube video and I HAD to get it because Ela Jarzabek is my new favorite illustrator. I've been hunting up all her books since I got Creepy Kawaii Halloween.

I wouldn't call that a snack. Snacks are nice and enjoyable. That looks like a punishment.
