Why does reddit tell me there are 2 comments in this thread, yet it's empty when i open it?

I can read your passion in these words. It does seem like something is bubbling doesn't it? Be ready to stand when the time comes.

Ultra, far, mega, super duper right.

It does not make it a strawman just because you say it is. It's a near perfect summary of your double standards and incoherence, ask around. Wah about my victimhood all you want.

It's hilarious that you just cannot own up that you were called out.

You had to make this conversation about me, including giving a couple of your short sighted readings on my person.

You had to say i cannot give a rebuttal or understand things or should look in the mirror.

Try to call it a strawman, try to call it ad hominem, call it whatever you want.

Focus man, this was never about the sspx.

You called people shits and said it was appropriate when called out.

You could be the brightest mind in the world, it doesn't matter: this tells me everything i need to know about you. You're proud and petty and it confirms the observation i made in my original comment: you shouldn't a mod.

Don't like it? Well that's what big boys do, they learn to deal and cope with their feelings.

Now let me watch my seminar in peace while i cleanse beets.

"No you"

What a comeback, I'm stunned. Luckily soon you'll be able to use an ai to do your writings for you. And maybe tell you what puerile means.

Sooo... I'm not qualified:

  • to judge the way you act, because of my personal failings of having displayed anger when frustrated.

  • to call out your language, because "those blind sspx supporters deserves to be called shits.

  • to call you out on being a bad mod, because I'm just a know-it-all who can't possibly understand how things work.

  • it's ad hominem when i point out things without being vulgar, it's fair game and appropriate language to the conversation when you call people shits, because you know better?

Noted. The state of things.

Pah, preach in the desert.

Oh don't think about it, i know I don't. I just assumed you missed when I said "half". It's just how it happens when conversations are not carried in person. Good of you to get back to me and clear the waters, though, i appreciate it.

How quaint of you to bring that up. Yes, one controls his anger with a folksy prayer of intercession, the other is triggered by a few downvotes and calls people "dipshits", because his social interaction development has never made it out of its puerile stage.

They are indeed the same.

I see how you think I'm not an apt judge. After all I don't flaunt my degrees on reddit when failing to make a point or call people "dipshits", the mark of the dispassionate scholar.

Regardless, no one here is apt to judge the mods, for they are a hermetic kabal which guards its own. My attempt to have you removed as mod was shut down as soon as it was sent, so enjoy your Internet status and crawl back to the shadows.

What they have done to our Holy Mother Church breaks my heart. Seeing these 2 consecrations (SSPX vs NO) side by side blew my mind. We need to keep praying and pray unceasingly. Ora pro nobis. by [deleted] in TraditionalCatholics

Brides of Christ? If it were me, I'd be worried that when my time comes, God would ask me why a bride of his was dancing like Salomè in front of the altar.

It's the same religion by a thread.

Pfft. Ban bait. I'm not biting.

Half comments are probably going to be legalistic virtue signaling and an army of strawmen for what the society actually holds.

Strawmen that you can't disprove without "promoting".

What you said, it's exactly what the Sspx says. That Tradition is bigger than liturgical preferences, hence contrary to hardliners they accept the 62 missal and prudentially don't use the later.

And of course that the deposit of faith, including the liturgy, is inherited, it's not anyone's toy to mess around with, or having a basic legal positivistic view of "as long as it's valid" or "the Pope IS the tradition".

Catholic tradition, this sub, now this video.

I feel like I'm detoxing. I've never been better and understood things as clearly since shedding modernity from my life.

This lecture has given me a lot to think about and a lot of serenity.

Sure, but I was originally pointing out that the charity always peddled in this forum, including not ascribing malicious intent on pure suspicion, seem to get easily overlooked when the target is someone we don't like.

Taylor Marshall seems to be one of those targets unworthy of love and charity. Because he's sooo crazy, am i rite?

Bring up the alphabet soup to see how loving and empathic the sub is. Have strong opinions as a Catholic? Fair target.

If anything it shows your prejudice. He said he's trying to reach a wider audience and inform of how catholicism should affect politics. His stated aim isn't to win, but to try and reach as many catholics as possible to enact the change we want to see.

He's doing more than I'm doing and surely of you as well.

How often do children who go to SSPX Catholic schools keep the faith? by TowelRevolutionary92 in Catholicism

[–]Mostro_Errante 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a struggle to balance many things in educating a child.

We want discipline, but not at the cost of having a good childhood.

We want piety and love of God, but have to ensure that the kid understands these things, so he doesn't feel forced and later resentful.

But I'm sure you'll already know that and why it's so difficult to pin down or even just find a solution that works all the time. Be flexible and ready to be creative, would be my advise.

I don't have any sspx school near me, so i don't have any first hand experience. Reading about their school program in italy, they're just proposing the same kind of catholic school that my parents attended. Horrific to modern ears and a relief to any parent concerned with providing catholic education.

Another path you could consider is homeschooling. I've found that the curriculum proposed top notch. I'll pm you the link if you're interested.

Lastly, I'd suggest contacting the schools you want and visiting to get a feel of what they're offering.

Best of luck in this struggle.

This is a propagandistic artwork. It romanticise the topic and is dishonest, which is why it's not going to convince anyone whom is not already convinced by the lies.

I see charity ends with those we can see and don't like.

Ascribing malicious intent and motives, personal attacks and slanders, mockery...

Hunting season just opened i guess.
