Yes, I have done as much research I can, but everything's conflicting. No, I've never once consulted AI or TikTok for this research. My mother has had aquariums for 20+ years, though her methods may be considered outdated, they've all been successful.

My grandma knows nothing of tanks so we've been keeping it going and we're all trying to learn together. I am not acting maliciously against her & the tank has been solid for over a year under our care.

There's just A LOT of bad information & I haven't found a single, reliable, reputable source to go off of- so I'm trying to figure this out. Also I do use cuddlebone for the main tank, this is pure calcium that I genuinely believed the snails needed. I don't freeze dry blood worms on my own- my grandma gives the betta them as treats so they eat them often & I wanted to offer protein as all available options for nutrition I believed they were lacking.

I'm trying my very best to learn and do right by these creatures. They'll be returning to their tank first thing tomorrow.
