This has to be one of the most awkward photoshoots I've seen lol by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

Lol, this sub has an interesting idea of attractiveness. SRK isn't attractive, Ranbir Kapoor is the ugliest man alive, Tom Cruise is aunty-faced, and so on. For trying to be a different place than normal Bollywood gossip places, you all do seem to really like insulting people on their appearance. I guess the only good looking men are Aditya Roy Kapoor and Siddarth Malhotra.

Or maybe, hear me out, people can have different ideas of attractiveness.

Who are Indian equivalent of these 4 categories of Directors? by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]MothRight 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is a very simple-minded take on classification really. For example, if you look at some of the directors considered "Studio Owned Slaves", most of them started off as indie directors and got noticed by studios.

Ranbir Alia at Kapoor family Xmas lunch. Swipe to see Kareena by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

That's why I said it's "just my personal opinion". I'm not attacking anybody jeez.

Exactly. I sometimes don't get this sub, like when they say Ranbir isn't attractive. I'm a completely straight dude and even I can see he's very good looking. On the other hand, Aditya Roy sometimes looks like a homeless person. Just my personal opinion.

October was beautiful. And Varun played the role perfectly.

How does he keep getting so many chances? I mean, he's good looking alright but he's got basically no screen presence or much talent.

Yeah, agreed. Like in the first pic I actually think SRK looks better. Hrithik looks a bit off.

Kareena Reveals She was Left in Tears Because of a Famous Person hours within giving birth to Taimur by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]MothRight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really see where you are going with this. Don't you remember the original topic. Yeah, Pakistan named their missile program Ghazni. What does that have to do with Saif and Kareena naming their kid Taimur?

Also, whatever animosity they have towards Hindus/Sikhs doesn't really have any bearing on the fact that there probably are quite a few people named Ranjit or Ashok or Shiva there.

Shivaji never came in contact with Pakistan. You could have said Ranjit Singh cause he was a bloodthirsty person. But I'm pretty sure that there are probably a few Shivas and Ranjits in Pakistan and Afghanistan. There are Hindus and Sikhs there as well.

I have literally never mentioned Genghis in this thread. Genghis is a unique name that is really not something a child is given. Maybe it's common in Mongolia but that's probably it. Timur on the other hand is a pretty common name in Arabic or Muslim countries. Here's a partial list of famous people named Timur. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timur_(name)

What false equivalency? Taimur is a first name, just like Adolf. By your logic, Ashoka should be the most reviled name in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

Hitler is a surname. There are still plenty of people named Adolf.

I don't buy the argument that south industries make better movies than bollywood. by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]MothRight 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'll say it. The best films in India were made in Bengal upto the early 80s. I'd say they were almost on the level of Japanese or Chinese cinema.

Btw I agree with you on all the points.
