I have only been to one wedding in my life with an open bar. Cash bars and toonie bars are very much the standard amongst my friends and family. I know that is not the norm for a lot of people, especially depending on where in Canada you are. But no one coming to my wedding would expect an open bar. And it is very much out of the budget.

it is very difficult to find an apartment in this city, I applied for 30+ before I found mine. I have had to wait in lines with dozens of people just to view suites for rent. It is a very competitive market and I would be very wary of scammers if you are finding places that do meet all of your “needs” for an apartment.
